Thoughts on the 2026 "Kumamoto Earthquake Support & Cat Charity Sale"

 

This year marks the 6th year of our company's charity activities.

Our charity activities for cats began when we rescued a small calico cat that had been separated from its mother and fallen into a hole behind our office when we first started the company.

We are able to hold this event again in 2026, despite the weak yen and the downturn in the Japanese economy, thanks to the continuous patronage of our customers. We sincerely appreciate your support.

 

This year, as last year, we will donate the proceeds from the cat charity to Neko Republic Co., Ltd.
Neko Republic Co., Ltd. not only rescues and re-homes stray cats, but also continuously supports cats through protected cat cafes and merchandise sales, operating under the mission "To provide every cat in this world with a safe place to sleep and a belly full of happiness."

Furthermore, immediately after the recent Kumamoto earthquake, they promptly went to the affected areas to rescue many displaced cats and help reunite lost cats with their owners.
In disasters, not only people but also cats can lose their homes and families. We want to continue to support their activities in extending a helping hand to such cats again this year.

And this year, we will also provide support for the 2026 Kumamoto earthquake.

Even now, shortly after the earthquake, there are still people in Kumamoto Prefecture who are forced to live in evacuation. Disasters don't end the moment they occur; a long time is needed for recovery and rebuilding lives.
That's why we have decided to make a donation to Kumamoto Prefecture, which is currently in need of support.

Supporting the lives of those in need and supporting cats. With the desire to value both, this year we will hold a charity sale that simultaneously provides support to Kumamoto Prefecture and donations to Neko Republic Co., Ltd.

As in previous years, our products will be offered at a significant discount, and ¥100 will be donated for each item purchased.
To increase the donation amount with more purchases, we have set a larger discount rate than usual sales, making it a plan where customers can enjoy shopping casually.

We continue this activity every year with the wish to return profits to society from our company, and for customers to easily participate in charity activities.
There is not much that a small company like ours can do alone. However, by accumulating support with our customers, we hope to be of some help to the people in the affected areas and the cats in need.

This year, we are also preparing to sell limited-edition pre-order cat charity items, for which ¥500 per item can be donated to Neko Republic Co., Ltd.'s activities.
